Little & Kind's eco-friendly food wraps are lovingly handmade by co-founder Sarah. With a love of fabric, colour and cooking, she was inspired to create the wraps as a starting point to reduce her family’s consumption of single-use plastics.
Sarah spent months researching, experimenting and seeking out the best quality ingredients, with a focus on local and sustainable wherever possible. Once the recipe was perfected, the next challenge was selecting the fabrics. Sarah and co-founder Pia chose fabrics with bright, fun patterns that appealed to their aesthetics and were made from 100% cotton.
Sarah presses the fabric and hand cuts to size before infusing with New Zealand beeswax, tree resin and organic coconut oil. The wraps are air dried, cured, then finally hand folded and packaged ready to depart for their new home.
